Fashion Week has officially kicked off starting in New York until next Thursday. To kick start the week BCBG Max Azria took to the runway to showcase the Spring 2013 collection. The collection featured mostly toned down and muted colours of nude and white with some blacks and greys too which is a big change from last spring were there was a pop in colour all over the runway but there is a little spot of coral thrown in to give it that spring touch. The collection has a provocative inspiration with the high slits, lace and sheer. Everything is kept to a long length with skirts and dresses over the knee and there is a strong use in leather which is seen in many of the pieces from the collection.
