NY Fashion Week:Victoria Beckham Spring 2012

Todays shows on the runway involved Alexander Wang,Lela Rose and the anticipated Victoria Beckham Spring 2012 Collection. This collection showed a little similarities to previous collections but she also showed some different sides to her clothes. Sport looked to be an inspiration for some of the pieces from the collection today which may have came from Mr Beckham. There was a use of bright colours including orange and blue aswell as old favorites black and white and she also mixed some metallic looking pieces in there to even it out. Overall from my point of view this collection isn’t my favorite of hers but i did like some of the pieces including the blue and orange colour block dress and the black and white gowns. Victoria Beckham launches a more affordable dress line

Victoria Beckham used to be known as just 1 fifth of the Spice Girls but now thats all forgotten as she has rocked the fashion world. She launched her own collection in 2008 and it was giving positive reviews with critics calling the collection ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Classy’ . The collection retailed between £650 and £1900 with numerous celebrities rocking the red carpet in a Beckham design. Now she is creating a a more affordable collection which will retail at £375 to £995. The dresses will be released as part of the Spring 2012 Victoria by Victoria Beckham collection.  Inspired for the dresses are from comic book character Emily The Strange with a range of what posh calls ‘girly’ 60s style dresses. What do you think ? Will you splash the cash on a piece ?

The Best of the Royal Wedding Fashion

Forget the wedding dress , i have chose 3 of my favorite  looks from the big day. The first one of course is Kate’s stunning sister Pippa Middleton who looks amazing in this Alexander McQueen gown. She looks so sleek and perfect and the dress suits her so well. My second look is the style icon herself Mrs Victoria Beckham who also looked so sleek and Perfect in this gorgeous navy dress which was of course from her own design and an interesting Philip Treacy hat who seemed to be a popular one with the hats.  Finally , last but not least as this has to be my favorite look is singer Joss Stone who looked amazing in an simple pink shift dress with matching jacket and a of course a nice hat to add a finishing touch.  What was your favorite look of the day ?
