New York Fashion Week:Badgley Mischka Fall 2013 RTW

As NYFW comes to a close, one collection that proved a hit was Badgley Mischka. After last season’s collection I have to say I have grown rather fond of the Badgley Mischka line and this season is no exception. This collection is very feminine with figure-hugging designs and embellished gowns. If I had to use one word to describe this collection it would be exquisite, the gowns are oscar-worthy and there is so much beautiful embellishments and detailing in this collection – Its fantastic!  Here below are some shots from the runway show. New York Fashion Week:Victoria,Victoria Beckham Fall 2013 RTW

Recently NYFW has been ongoing and one of the designers to preview their next collection was Victoria Beckham who showed both her main line and her diffusion line.  This collection has a heavy influence from menswear with  layered button up shirts and suit style dresses. The image of the brand seems to have stepped up a level since the last collection as the girly girl image of the brand seems to be long gone and replaced with masculine and sophisticated looks. The colours also appear dark to continue this masculine look with no girly colours in sight. Here below are some shots from the runway show. New York Fashion Week:Jenny Packham Spring 2013 RTW

Now to finish off a fabulous NYFW i showcase you with the fantastic designer Jenny Packham. If you have heard of Packham you will know all about her breathtaking designs and sparkling dresses which have been approved by the Duchess herself Kate Middleton who is one of her many famous fans. If you haven’t heard of the wonderful Jenny Packham then you’re in for a treat once you see her collection. As always she has shimmering dresses and well-fitted garments which are featured in the collection. If you have seen my previous posts on NYFW you will realize that i have paid particular attention to the colour palette the designers have chose at NYFW and how there is a strong use in muted colours aswell as a small splash of a coral/orange which is very popular on the runway well this collection does follow a similar pattern with light blues and metallic shades as well as light pinks and yellows and of course has a showing of a rather bold orange. Just like Elie Saab there really is no words to explain the collections from these designers they are always just so perfect and breathtaking. Below are some pictures from the show. New York Fashion Week:Badgley Mischka Spring 2013 RTW

I think i have just gained a new fave designer..wow I’m blown away! Yep Badgley Mischka just wow. I never have paid much attention to Badgley Mischka but after having a look at the Spring 2013 collection today i do not know why i never looked paid attention to them, the designs were absolutely stunning to say the least. This collection has a very girly look of course through the long flowing dresses and the pretty nude tones and fairytale blues. Again as i have been previously saying in other posts from FW that Spring 2013 has a lot of muted tones with low use in bold colour which makes a small appearance in some collections, this Badgley Mischka collection is the same with a main use in nude and light tones with a spot of bold colour. So far this has to be my favorite show from FW, breathtaking collection.   Below are some pictures from the show. The rest of the collection can be seen at Style.com. New York Fashion Week:Victoria Beckham Spring 2013 RTW

Today in New York one of my new favorite designers previewed her new spring collection at NYFW, of course it was the lovely Victoria Beckham. I have been a big fan of Beckham’s collections with her well structured dresses and sophisticated bags. This collection however seems a little different from her previous ones as she has thought a little more than just dresses and coats and incorporated shorts and trousers into this collection. One thing that i did notice immediately was the color palette she used, it seemed very similar to the BCBG Max Azria collection i blogged about on Friday with the monochrome colours aswell as nudes and that orange which is also similar to the coral that was featured in the BCBG Max Azria collection. It seems that Spring 2013 will have more muted tones compared to the Spring we just had were colour was big. Below are some pictures from the show. The rest of the collection can be seen at Style.com. What do you think of this collection ? Follow on twitter @4everfash . New York Fashion Week:BCBG Max Azria Spring 2013 RTW

Fashion Week has officially kicked off starting in New York until next Thursday. To kick start the week BCBG Max Azria took to the runway to showcase the Spring 2013 collection. The collection featured mostly toned down and muted colours of nude and white with some blacks and greys too which is a big change from last spring were there was a pop in colour all over the runway but there is a little spot of coral thrown in to give it that spring touch. The collection has a provocative inspiration with the high slits, lace and sheer. Everything is kept to a long length with skirts and dresses over the knee and there is a strong use in leather which is seen in many of the pieces from the collection. Below are some pictures from the show. The rest of the collection can be seen at Style.com. What do you think of this collection ? Follow on twitter @4everfash . Credit to Style.com for images.

New York Fashion Week:Victoria Beckham A/W 2012

Last week another one of my favorite designers was at New York Fashion Week and that was of course Victoria Beckham. She may be better known for being in the Spice Girls and for being married to David Beckham but her name has grown rapidly in the fashion industry and she has became a true fashion icon. Her collections are known for featuring a vary of figure-hugging dresses and uniquely shaped designs. To be honest looking at this collection it isn’t my favourite of hers from previous years i feel its lacking that uniqueness and feels rather plain and simple. What do you think ? Do you agree? See the rest of the collection at Style.com. Credit to Style.com for images.

New York Fashion Week:Oscar de la Renta A/W 2012

Oscar de la Renta previewed his collection at New York Fashion Week yesterday. The collection has a youthful but ladylike feel to the pieces. It features pastel blues and pinks to give it the childish and playful look but the collection also features a darker palette of colours to relate to the Autumn season. One of my main loves for Oscar de la Renta is his gorgeous gowns and this collection had a nice vary of beautiful gowns perfect for lavish events. Below are some images from the collection. New York Fashion Week: Monique Lhuillier A/W 2012

This week seen the start of A/W fashion week and it all kicked off in New York. Its rather weird seeing all the new fall fashion when we are just leaving fall behind us and getting into Spring! Anyway one of my favorite designers previewed their collection at Fashion Week which was Monique Lhuillier . The collection has the usual breathtaking gowns that Monique Lhuillier always has on offer and the collection has a red and black theme. Below are some images from the collection.
