Products On The Repurchase List

origins, the body shop, nars, bare minerals, kiehls, eye cream. skincare, kat von d, tattoo liner, review, clarins, lip balm You can always tell how good a beauty product is if it’s worth a repurchase! After trial and error, I have found some great products that I would no doubt be repurchasing in the future. There is countless products in my stash that I adore however I selected a small variety of products that I have either already repurchased or know that a repurchase will happen!

SKINCARE

Skincare products are tricky and definitely the sign of a good product if you know it is worth a repurchase! Whilst I will probably have more makeup options overall, there is some skincare products I know I couldn’t be without!

Clarins are one of my favourite brands and definitely a brand I need to try more from. One of my favourite products is their One Step Facial Cleanser. I am now on my third bottle of this stuff, it is so good! It is a quick and easy water based cleanser that is perfect for mornings to swipe over the face for a gentle and awakening cleanse. I’ve tried both the mint and orange variety and love both, this orange one however does leave a beautiful glow to the skin!

A bit of a skincare-makeup hybrid, the Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfecting Base, in short a lip balm. This is seriously underrated! I recently finished up a tube of this and had to repurchase asap as I just couldn’t do without this! It is the perfect lip balm for under lipstick, super moisturising and a great base. So worth the splurge!

After suffering from rough skin under my eyes, I opted for the Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado and since haven’t looked back! This is seriously moisutrising stuff, it is thick and super nourishing so great if like me you suffer from dryness or rough skin under your eyes. It may seem expensive for a tiny pot but oh my this has lasted me so long, in fact over a year (which I shouldn’t be admitting to!) and is still going strong!

The last skincare product on my list is from another brand favourite of mine, Origins. I’ve tried quite a lot from Origins but one of my favourite products from them right now is their Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturiser. With the wintery weather making an appearance, my skin is feeling rather lacklustre and in need of hydration and this moisturiser is the perfect option. It is seriously moisturising and as it suggests a boost of energy! I need a full sized tub asap!

MAKEUP

First on the makeup list is an already repurchased item in the form of Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, my favourite ever concealer. I am not going to go on too much about this as regular readers will know the drill, this stuff is just seriously good. Thick and creamy with high coverage, perfect for blemishes!

Sticking to base related items, BareMinerals Complexion Rescue has became a favourite of mine over the last year. The perfect lightweight and low coverage base that offers the most gorgeous dewiness to the skin. It is essentially like your skin but better! A product I highly recommend trying if you are into glowy skin!

Another favourite of mine that many will be aware of, since I’ve mentioned it so many times is the Body Shop Honey Bronzer. This bronzer was basically made for my skin, coming in a range of light tones, it is the perfect shading for fair skinned gals (and guys) like me! It isn’t too muddy or orange in any way so creates a gorgeous warmth and sculpted look to the skin! My shade 02 doesn’t seem to be available and I have heard terms of it being discontinued(!) but there is other shades available!

Last but not least on this extra long post (sorry!) is a newbie to my stash yet one I already am obsessed with. It is the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. I went off eyeliner for a long time and once I got this and I can’t stop wearing it! I seriously wonder how I coped without wearing eyeliner since it makes such a difference! For an eyeliner noob like me however this is an absolute dream of a product. The brush tip makes it easy to glide over the eye without tugging and it is super pigmented and seriously long lasting! So good!

My Current Makeup Menu

too faced, sweet peach, palette, eyeshadow, review, becca, opal, real techniques, mac, brush, prep and prime, the body shop, honey bronzer, nars, sheer glow, foundation, creamy concealer, vanilla, mont blanc, urban decay, backtalk, vice lipstick, charlotte tilbury, makeup bag, jouer primer, chanel, chanel powder, les beigesIt’s been a while since I last shared my current makeup routine so it makes sense to post a little update. Having got back into wearing makeup again on a daily basis, I have been sticking pretty much to a solid consistent routine using the same products again and again and rarely changing it up. For someone who adores Autumn and particularly the makeup trends at this time of year, surprisingly I haven’t turned to dark lips and eyes, instead I’ve been loving a more Summer appropriate look with dewy skin, a peachy eye look and nude lips.

My base is the one area I’ve been sticking to a constant routine and hardly changing up. I start by priming with the Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer which feels nice and calming on the skin but I can’t say it’s helped improve my skin long term. I then go in with my trusty Nars Sheer Glow foundation and top it off with the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer on any blemishes, again another favourite of mine! I then conceal under the eyes with the Mac Prep and Prime Highlighter in Light Boost with the yellow toned liquid working to highlight under my eyes and discard any darkness.

Before setting my base with the Chanel Les Beiges Powder, I use the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter in Opal across my cheekbones and blend it out with my Beauty Blender. Before finishing off my face with a bit of bronzer to warm up my skin a little. Of course I am still obsessed with my favourite Honey Bronzer from The Body Shop.

too faced, sweet peach, palette, eyeshadow, review, urban decay, vice lipstick, backtalk, mac, real techniques, chanel, les beiges, becca, opal, highlighter, shimmering skin perfector, liquid highlighterMoving onto eyes, I start with my eyebrows and keep it fairly simple by running the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil through them to add a little more definition. I then move onto eyeshadow using the beautiful Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette which is full of gorgeous peachy and brown warm tones. I like to create a simple shimmery golden-y peachy look using mainly Nectar, Luscious, Cobbler and Caramelized which creates a gorgeous ‘golden goddess’ look that gives off extreme VS Angel vibes! Damn yeah! To finish off my eyes I coat on my favourite Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant mascara which leaves my lashes looking thick and full.

To finish off my look, I like to dabble in a few different lip shades since lipstick is my thing, if you haven’t noticed all ready! Currently though, I am loving one of the new Urban Decay Vice lipsticks in the shade Backtalk. A gorgeous cool toned pink with a comfortable matte finish. LOVE!

September Favourites

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick, Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette, Sephora 55 Airbush Brush Collection, Review, Lovesick, VanillaIt’s hard to believe that the countdown to Christmas is now on. Three months people, three months. Summer is over and Autumn is beginning (finally!). Festive season excitement behind, September is now over and it’s time to round up my beauty favourites from the month. This month, I didn’t try many new things or change up my makeup that frequently but there is still a few items that I am desperate to have a little rave about!

A product that I’ve had in my stash for so long and for so long has received the silent treatment is the beauty that is the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette. I was so excited when this palette was released that I refreshed the Debenhams website basically every minute for hours waiting for it to be in stock. Obviously as you can see I was in luck but I did buy it at an inconvenient time as Summer came and I hardly wore makeup so this palette didn’t get much use! However I have pulled this out again to start getting use out of it especially since I need to review this beauty asap which I will do! The palette has some gorgeous golden-y peachy tones that make for a great everyday look and the shadow quality is impressive!

The next product I’ve been loving is an old favourite that many of you will be sick of hearing me rave about! I finally repurchased the Nars Creamy Radiant Concealer (full review here) which I just adore. I had been dabbling in a few different concealers recently and none of them offered the coverage and longevity that the Nars one delivers. I basically couldn’t wait any longer and had to get this wonder product back in my life. You either love it or you hate it but for me as a concealer for blemishes, it works incredibly well. Full coverage that lasts all day without being cakey! Perfect!

A couple of new products in my stash. Firstly, the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lovesick which is finally now stocked in the UK *happy dance*. I had been desperate to try these lipsticks for ages and I am so glad to have tried them now as they are so worth the hype! I love a good liquid lipstick and this is definitely one of my favourites. The shade Lovesick is a great cool toned pink shade that makes a great everyday shade. The formula is also comfortable and basically so far so good!

Lastly, a makeup brush that just blew me away from the first use, the Sephora #55 brush which I mentioned in this haul. I had heard so many great things about this brush so couldn’t wait to finally get my hands on it. I am also glad to say it lives well and truly up to all the hype. It is the perfect size for foundation and is beautifully soft. It is also not overly fluffy but also not too dense either which makes it just perfect! The handle on the brush is also a lot longer than most other makeup brushes I own which I really like. Most importantly though, it blends in foundation beautifully and with a natural finish!

What have you been loving recently?

High-end Products Worth The Splurge

beauty-makeup-high-end-worth-splurge-nars-urban-decay-naked-palette-smashbox-primer-becca-charlotte-tilburyI love a good splurge. I think we have all gathered that by now. As a lover of high-end and luxury beauty products I thought I would share some products that I believe to be worth the splurge. Spending your precious pennies on a beauty product can be risky business not knowing if it will perform to your expectations or not. So if you are somebody who doesn’t buy a lot of high end products or if you are hoping to make a little splurge soon then hopefully my picks can give you a little reassurance. Even if you are a luxury fiend then maybe my picks will also offer a little push to go splurge some more, sorry!

Urban Decay Naked Palette

I couldn’t not mention one of the most hyped up high end products! The Urban Decay Naked palettes are hugely popular and for good reason. Having built up my collection of them all, I can definitely say that they are truly worth the hype and the splurge. Whilst all of them may not be necessary, I think the original palette is a great all-rounder. Full of warm bronze-y neutral tones, its a palette for everyone. Whilst the shade range is great, the quality of the shadows is also incredible. Urban Decay have really nailed a great buttery long lasting eyeshadow formula that every beauty lover needs to try! My full review of this palette here.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks

I love a good lipstick especially a luxurious one. It’s always nice to treat yo’ self to nice new lipstick and what better than the queen herself Charlotte Tilbury. Her makeup line is truly exquisite and her lipsticks are no exception. Both her matte and moisturising creamy lipstick range are incredibly impressive. The matte formula is one of the best matte formulas I’ve ever tried with a seriously comfortable application and finish. Perfect for people who aren’t particularly fond of the feeling of many matte lipsticks. Her K.I.S.S.I.N.G range is also really nice offering a moisturising formula that is pretty impressive in terms of longevity! They are pricey but so worth it in mu opinion! My favourites include Bitch Perfect and Lost Cherry.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

I always struggle with drugstore foundations and I truly believe that splurging on a base product is so worth it! High end foundations tend to offer a much better formula in terms of how it applies and also the lasting power which is very important in a foundation. My particular favourite is Nars Sheer Glow, a great all round base. It offers a satin buildable finish that doesn’t cling to dry patches or look cakey on the skin. It also has impressive longevity making it a great reliable foundation. Definitely one to try! My full review is here.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighters

Highlighters are just everything, right? For me, nothing quite beats the Becca formulation. Their highlighters are like no other. I have two of the pressed highlighters in Opal and Champagne Pop and my goodness are they beautiful! The give off a serious killer glow to the skin with incredible pigmentation. Although the creamy buttery texture is what makes these even more amazing. They glide on so beautifully on the skin without looking powdery or with chunks of glitter, just like smooth gold!

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer

Oh how I love a good primer. From what I’ve tried, I’ve never actually found a good drugstore primer that works and none that can beat my love for the Smashbox one. I feel like this primer is a bit of a love or a hate thing but what it achieves is so impressive. The texture is probably the thing that bothers most people out of preference but for me I quite like it. It doesn’t feel greasy or slippy on the skin and leaves a smoothing effect perfecting for starting makeup. The longevity powers it has though is what makes this. Paired under foundation it takes my makeup lasting hours longer than it would have without. It is basically magic!

Nars Creamy Concealer

Another incredibly hyped product but for good reason. This concealer is well worth the extra pennies. The thick but creamy formula works wonders on blemishes and spots offering full coverage that isn’t cakey or clingy. It also wears well throughout the day unlike many other concealers that get a little drying as the day goes on. Despite the thickness, I don’t find this drying at all although I personally don’t like the texture for under the eyes however on blemishes it is a dream! Full review here.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer vs Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer vs Nars Creamy Radiant ConcealerIf there is a question that most beauty lovers want to know, it is what is better; the Nars Radiant Creamy  Concealer or the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. I have been lucky enough to try both so I thought I would share my thoughts on what I think really is the better concealer. The Nars one has remained my ‘holy-grail’ concealer for a long time now for covering blemishes yet when I reached the near end of the product I was desperate to try the newly cult UD concealer. So after giving both a good try, here is my run-down on the two cult concealers…

PACKAGING

Starting with the exterior and look of the actual concealers. They are both fairly similar and what you would expect, the usual concealer wand with a doe foot applicator. The Nars one is packaged within a square style tube with a matte black lid which can get messy with fingerprints but that doesn’t personally bother me. Whereas the UD one is in a cylinder style tube with a metallic lid and is slightly shorter than the Nars tube. The UD applicator is also a lot more sponge-y than the Nars one and it carries more product too. The only issue with the UD applicator is that if you pull it out the tube too quickly some of the product may splash out. The Nars concealer contains slightly more product with 6ml compared to UD having 5ml.

PRICE

In terms of the price, there is a clear winner. The Nars concealer retails for £22.50 and the UD concealer for £17.50. It is also quite easy to nab a little discount on these prices too if you use online retailers like Feel Unique and ASOS. Obviously with the UD concealer being much cheaper it does make it that little more attractive.

SHADE

Both concealers have a very decent shade range so there should be something for everyone. For the Nars concealer, I have the shade Vanilla which is Shade 2 which is the perfect match for me. Unfortunately, I don’t quite have the right shading when it comes to UD as I picked up the wrong shade! I have the shade Light Neutral which is just a bit too dark for me. I did stupidly order this one online instead of being colour matched so my fault there but I do find the UD range quite confusing to understand so I would definitely recommend going to a counter!

Nars Creamy Radiant Concealer Vanilla vs Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer Light Neutral Concealer shades vanilla light neutral swatches

COVERAGE & FORMULA

Both concealers are very similar but the formula differs a little. The Nars one has a very thick consistency which personally I find too heavy for under the eyes but it works a dream for covering large and hard to cover blemishes. I know that a lot of people have an issue with the consistency of the Nars one but personally I find it very creamy (as the name would suggest) and also not drying on the skin. The coverage of this one is also superb and what makes it my holy grail, it definitely excels in that department. On to the UD one, as the name for this one suggests it is pretty weightless. The consistency is a lot more lightweight and thinner which I am sure many people will prefer. Yet it still offers very decent coverage although I would probably say the Nars one just pips it to the post on that. The UD concealer also has a slight scent to it which personally doesn’t bother me but is something to take note of.

So overall, two very good performing concealers which both feel comfortable on the skin and still offer good coverage. The UD one has been slightly more difficult to test due to my shade being wrong but I still really like it and I will definitely be picking up the right shade in the future! I do prefer the Nars one for coverage but the price for the UD one makes it a lot more appealing and I wouldn’t be surprised if it replaced my coveted Nars one!

Are you a fan of these concealers?

2015 Beauty Favourites: Base & Cheek Products

2015 Beauty FavouritesIt’s that time for a mammoth of a favourites post! With 2015 over and done with, it’s time to look back at some of my top beauty products from the year. If you are a regular reader around these parts then most of the products may not be a big surprise to you! This is actually the first time I have ever done a whole yearly favourites so as I have so many products and didn’t want to bore you all with an essay of a blog post I have split this in to two parts. Today’s post will look into my favourite base/cheek products so foundation, concealer, blush etc. Then on Wednesday I will be rounding up my favourite eye/lip products. So I will stop blabbing on now and get on with my 2015 favourites…

Primer

There is only one primer that has ever really done it for me. That is without a doubt the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. I mentioned this already just last week in my December Favourites but this is holy grail level for me. I tried out a sample of this at either the end of 2014/start of 2015 and in one try I was completely blown away! I was of course also super happy to pick it up during a flight this summer were I got it for a pretty bargain! This primer creates such a velvety soft finish to my skin which lets my foundation slip on top super easily. It makes my makeup last super long like crazy and it still manages to keep my base looking fresh and flawless. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Foundation/ Base products

There is three base products that I truly fell for this year. All of which will be no surprise to you! Weirdly enough each one has a completely different finish from one another but it means I’ve got something good to cover all bases. First up, the tinted moisturiser lightweight base. BareMinerals Complexion Rescue stole my heart during the year with its flawless skin in a bottle formula. This is one for a good skin day as it does have a much lighter coverage. Although it basically gives you better skin, it is super glowy and fresh and makes you feel like a VS Angel, pretty much! Check my review for that one here.

For a more fuller coverage, night out option and just overall incredible foundation, Nars Sheer Glow wins hands down! I had been desperate to try this foundation for far too long and finally took the plunge earlier in 2015 and I am ever so glad I did! The shade Mont Blanc is the perfect fit for my skin and coverage is super buildable. It also doesn’t include SPF so is perfect for nights out! Just a perfect foundation in my books, check my full review here.

Lastly, a surprise new favourite came my way from the drugstore not too long ago. I don’t usually get on well with drugstore foundations although this seemed to work a dream with my skin. The L’Oreal Infallible 24h-Matte is the foundation in question. I never ever swayed towards matte foundations, with glowy and satin finishes more up my street but this formula is just great, it’s not too matte and has a nice natural look whilst still providing good coverage. At an affordable price, it’s such a great everyday option, check my review here.

Conceal & Correct

Concealer is always something I had been on the hunt for, something that provided good long lasting coverage without caking. The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer seemed to fit the bill. This is just the perfect concealer for me when covering blemishes, it offers great coverage and is super blendable with a thick consistency. The fact I am now running out makes me feel pretty darn sad! I don’t know how to deal without my Nars concealer! Check my full review here.

At the start of the year, corrector is something I would never have considered. Not just because I wouldn’t have needed it but also because I probably never knew what it was. That was until the Bobbi Brown corrector made its way into my life. I get discoloration under my eyes and I turned to trying the cult BB corrector in a bid to fix up my blue under eyes. This product works wonders on me, the creamy formula is super easy to work with and blends in nicely on the skin without caking or creasing. It offers really great coverage too and hides any noticeable discoloration.

Cheek Products

At the start of the year I never cared so much for bronzer. I never really seen the need for it although that was until I tried The Body Shop Honey Bronzer. This is hands down one of my best makeup discoveries ever. The shade is just so perfect for my fair skin and isn’t too warm at all. As well as giving my skin a bit of warmth, it also adds shape and definition which I just love. It is also a complete bargain!

This year also saw my love for blush grow. I don’t know why I love it so much but I have always been forever looking for more blush to add to my collection. In 2015, I finally tried out the well hyped Hourglass brand. After getting my hands on the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit, I got to try out a couple more blushes and other products in their powder range. The one that I truly fell for though was Mood Exposure, a gorgeous mauve plum shade which looks super natural on the skin. The formula for these are also unbeatable! Check my review of the palette here.

The Going Out Makeup Look

Going Out Makeup LookDespite still being in my teen years I have a rather poor social life. I rarely venture out for nights out on the town instead favoring staying in to watch a load of crap weekend TV. Since it’s such a rare occasion I do step out I do like to up my makeup game and put in the effort. All my favourite and top makeup picks come out to play in being those trustworthy products that I know will stick around for a long night. There is no surprise really that it’s all high end products that made the cut as I do like to make good use of my investment pieces that I know work well for me. I did surprisingly head out last weekend although for a very special occasion as I headed to see One Direction in concert so obviously I wanted to look my best. There is a mix of newbies and old favourites that I have put together to form a killer night out look.

Starting with base, this is really were I put a lot of trust in my products to be long lasting and work for my skin. As always I start with primer and of course my holy grail Smashbox Photo Finish Primer excels in helping makeup last longer and still looks fresh throughout the night. I’ve never found as good a foundation as Nars Sheer Glow. It provides a buildable satin finish and blends beautifully into the skin. Another favourite from Nars is their Creamy Radiant Concealer which does the best job at concealing blemishes and redness. Mine is currently running low which does make me panic cause pricey repurchase may be necessary! In terms of concealing eyes, I start with my Bobbi Brown corrector to cancel out any discoloration under the eyes then use my Clarins Instant Concealer over the top.

On to the more exciting products to give my complexion a little bit of life. I am so excited to say that I finally own the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow Palette. This palette is what dreams are made of. It is so gorgeous. I firstly use the sculpt shade to warm up my complexion and give my cheekbones a little definition. Then I like to go a little crazy with highlighter by patting it on to the tops of my cheekbones for that intense glow. To perk up the cheeks you can never go wrong with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes in particular the shade Diffused Heat. With highlighting properties these blushes really light up the skin and don’t appear flat.

Onto the eyes. As usual my Benefit Gimme Brow for a little sweep through the brows to make them a little fuller. In terms of eyeshadow, I have been going a little palette crazy recently. I finally picked up the Urban Decay Smoky palette cause obviously I had to, right? With deep intense shades it works perfectly at creating more full on night out looks. The shimmer shades in particular in this palette are truly stunning and the shade Radar is one I am forever reaching for. For the full on dramatic eye look I like to finish by curling my eyelashes with the Shu Uemera eyelash curlers and many coats of the Benefit They’re Real mascara.

To finish off, I like to add something a little bold to the lips. I find going out gives me the perfect opportunity to crack out the bold dark shades. One shade I have been reaching for recently has been Mac D For Danger, a bold berry red shade in a matte finish that sticks around from dinner to drinks to home time.

What products do you reach for on a night out?

The Minimal Makeup Look

Minimal Makeup LookWe all have those days were we want a fuss free makeup menu that will take a limited amount of time. I certainly have those days and since starting work this Summer I have nailed down a quick makeup routine that is easy and appropriate for a day at work. I am thinking those easy and convenient products but also ones that I can trust to create a good base. There are quite a few products in my stash that serve this purpose pretty well.

First up, when it comes to base I want something simple, lightweight but also creates radiant and flawless skin. Sounds like a lot but BareMinerals Complexion Rescue fits the bill. The light coverage base blends in like a dream and creates such gorgeous glowy fresh skin. Teamed with the Nars Creamy Concealer which gives the coverage it serves up a flawless base. Still sticking with the base, to warm things up a bit my new trusty Body Shop Honey Bronzer is a match made in heaven for my pale skin. For quick and easy application, the Rimmel Stay Blushed cheek tint works perfectly at adding a little flushed look to the cheeks. To keep on top of the glow the Topshop Glow Pot is the perfect product for adding a sheen to the tops of the cheekbones.

Moving on to eyes. there is nothing quite as easy and simple as a good eyeshadow stick. The By Terry Ombre Blackstars are as good as the hype suggests. The shade Misty Rock is simply beautiful and the formula is incredible gliding over the lids smoothly with a gorgeous finish. To finish the look, a quick swipe of the Benefit Bad Gal mascara for that natural fluttery style which is perfect for an everyday basis. For brows, the Soap and Glory Archery works wonders and is perfect for those minimal makeup days when you need something natural but still tidied up.  To finish the look, a simple sweep of the Clarins Lip Balm Perfector is a great choice, super moisturising and buttery smooth on the lips whilst still giving them a little colour.

June Favourites

June FavouritesJust typing the word ‘June’ is enough to give me the chills. Its quite hard to believe we are past the half way mark of 2015! Anyway this month has been a bit of a slow one. I never really ventured much outside so the amount of times I wore makeup was pretty minimal. This favourites post will be quite short and sweet but I did gather a few life long favourites that are worth raving about.

First up is the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer that I already reviewed in full here. This concealer has answered my prayers and gave my everything I have ever wanted in a concealer. The thick and creamy formula is a dream to work with and it offers such a good coverage perfect for covering blemishes and pigmentation. Its expensive but is much more long wearing than cheaper alternatives I previously tried.

I also have two lip favourites this month of the opposite scale with one being a nude and the other a bold fuchsia. The first offering being the YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick in the shade 1 Nude Beige which I talked about previously here. The formula of these lipsticks are incredible, beautifully silky and creamy on the lips. The nude shade is also great for everyday wear.

The latter lip offering comes from Nars and is one of their classic lip pencils in the shade Yu. I got this mini version in their Christmas gift set which I talked about here. I wore this shade for the first time this month and its safe to say it blew me away. The satin formula is super soft and moisturising on the lips and the pink fuchsia shade is bold and vibrant. I was a little worried on the longevity of this one being a satin finish but oh my this lasts super well. Lets just say I had problems trying to remove this and I still ended up with pink tinted lips the next day!

Lastly is a pot of gold. Okay not exactly but the Topshop Glow Pot in Polished comes close. I am already a fan of the Topshop highlighters with their glow stick remaining one of my favourites. I heard so much about this cute little pot and had to get my hands on it. Luckily for me they also repackaged it for their 5th anniversary in a cute rose gold design so obviously I had to get it then. The highlighter is super creamy and a little goes a long way. By dotting a little along the cheekbones it creates the most beautiful glow.

I stated at the start of this post that this one would be short and sweet yet I’ve rambled on as usual… sorry!

What have you been loving this month?
