Moschino: Fall 2014 RTW

Milan Fashion Week came to a close this week but before we travel to the city of love for the rest of Fall 2014 here is one last look at MFW were Moschino took to the runway. This collection was the debut for designer Jeremy Scott and it’s safe to say he well and truly put his own trademark stamp on his debut collection for Moschino. Typical of Scott, inspiration for the collection came from popular culture with McDonald’s, Coco Chanel, Spongebob and candy inspired looks. While the collection heavily featured Scott’s typical style the Moschino image was not lost and still the same old loud and edgy style. An unusual but fun and playful collection and what can we say, eat your heart out! What do you think of this collection? The rest of the collection can be viewed at Style.com.

Fall 2013 Trends: Tartan Army

We are fully kicking into Fall as we reach mid-October (this year has went crazy fast) with nights getting colder and darker. The shops are now full of winter coats and all the necessities for fall. One trend in particular that has taken over this season is Tartan! Tartan, Tartan, Tartan – its everywhere! Tartan was first spotted back on the runway in collections for Celine, Moschino, Preen etc. and has now made a full impact on the high street. Now is the time to take out your highland side or your punk rocker look with a wide variety of pieces available. Below are some pieces from the high street which incorporate the tartan trend, hover over each image for prices. What do you think of this trend? Follow the blog on twitter @5tyled

Resort 2014:Moschino Cheap And Chic

One of my favorite things about this time of year is the launch of the Resort collections. Many designers have launched their resort collections for 2014 this week and one of my favorite collections that I have seen so far is from Moschino Cheap And Chic. There is an obvious theme running through this collection with tie-dye, daisies and peace writing representing the 60s or the hippie look. The fun and playful look of the collection would most definitely not look out of place at any music festivals coming up this summer. Cute candy colours, floral prints and crocheted designs all play a major part in this collection and live up to the 1960s vibe created. Below are some pieces from the collection. What do you think of this collection? The rest of the collection can be viewed at Style.com.

Milan Fashion Week:Moschino Fall 2013 RTW

Fashion Week is moving swiftly on as we have now approached Milan! One of the collections to hit the runway this week was Moschino. This collection had an interesting theme running through it with a Tartan highland inspired look and an equestrian inspiration. The collection seems rather unusual and quirky to say the least but did contain the usual Moschino monochrome which is always making an appearance. Compared to previous collections this one is very ‘out there’ if you know what I mean and seems to be too much for a Ready to wear collection in my opinion. Here below are some shots from the runway show. Are you a fan of this collection ? To see all the runway shots go to Style.com. Credit to Style.com for images.

Milan Fashion Week:Moschino A/W 2012

So far Fashion Week has showed a lot of dark looks for fall but Moschino has showed a very different side with bright yellows , reds and blues among the collection. The collection had a lot of colourful winter coats as well as hints of black leather and a variety of mini dresses and skirts. Go to Style.com for the rest of the collection.
