I’m running a little late with my posts so i will just post one for LFW. A British favorite especially with the Duchess of Cambridge is Issa which caused a storm in Fashion after Kate Middleton wore of course her iconic blue wrap dress for the announcement of her engagement which was of course from the Issa collection. Issa are very popular for its colour pop and this collection is no exception with bold yellows, reds and blues and pretty much any color you can name. This collection was full of halterneck gowns in every colour, japanese flower inspiration loud patterned jumpsuits. This collection is quite different from the others i have seen at NWFW were pops of color were not to be seen with monochrome and muted hues taking over the runway although it seems Daniella Helayel has stuck grounded to herself and produced a collection known to her.Below are some pictures from the show. The rest of the collection can be seen at Style.com. What do you think of this collection ? Follow on twitter @4everfash . Credit to Style.com for images.
Now to finish off a fabulous NYFW i showcase you with the fantastic designer Jenny Packham. If you have heard of Packham you will know all about her breathtaking designs and sparkling dresses which have been approved by the Duchess herself Kate Middleton who is one of her many famous fans. If you haven’t heard of the wonderful Jenny Packham then you’re in for a treat once you see her collection. As always she has shimmering dresses and well-fitted garments which are featured in the collection. If you have seen my previous posts on NYFW you will realize that i have paid particular attention to the colour palette the designers have chose at NYFW and how there is a strong use in muted colours aswell as a small splash of a coral/orange which is very popular on the runway well this collection does follow a similar pattern with light blues and metallic shades as well as light pinks and yellows and of course has a showing of a rather bold orange. Just like Elie Saab there really is no words to explain the collections from these designers they are always just so perfect and breathtaking. Below are some pictures from the show. As 2011 is drawing to a close, looking overall at the fashion from the year there has been highs and lows. First looking at the highs there has been many but i have chose 3 looks that I remember from the year for being outstanding and simply beautiful. I may have posted about these looks before and I’m sure you will at least remember one of them or even two.
Yep the first one is Kate Middleton wearing this stunning light pink Jenny Packham sequined gown. C’mon you just had to mention her, Kate has had a unbelievable year after getting married and is now seen as a huge style icon. Personally i don’t see the whole style icon thing about her and sometimes I feel she dresses a little older than she should but while i wouldn’t say i would change my mind looking at this outfit but i do adore it ! It is very beautiful and looks amazing on her, there is nothing more i can really say but this is a great look from 2011.
I always remember this first time i seen this outfit and thinking WOW! thats just amazing ! This outfit was very special to Beyonce as this is what she wore when she announced her pregnancy at the MTV VMAs in August. The gown is by Lanvin and is a very beautiful bright shade of orange which i love most about this dress. Beyonce has perfectly accessoried this dress not making over did or under did but just the right balance with her stunning dangling earrings and her hair adds to this by being beautifully sweeped to the side. This outfit has got to be one of or even my favorite outfit worn by Beyonce.
I just couldn’t miss this look out! This is Jennifer Hudson at the 2011 Grammy Awards wearing the most gorgeous navy blue coloured Versace dress. I actually can’t describe how much i love this dress its just sooo amazing. Just like Beyonce, Jennifer’s hair looks beautiful to compliment the outfit and i really can’t say anything else its that good !

Kate Middleton’s style is something that divides us all – some say she looks amazing and is a style icon while others say she dresses like a 40 year old but what do you think ? To be honest when i saw this picture of her (below) at a charity gala this week i have to say she does look like she is in her late 30s or early 40s when actually she is only 29 ! If you think of the way celebrities who are older than her like Kim Kardashian or Beyonce dress – its completely different – now i’m not saying she should strut about with Hermes Birkin bags in a skin tight revealing Herve Leger dress with 6inch Louboutins on but not any other 29 year old or someone around that age with the her same usual v-neck wrap dresses aging her at least 10 years. Her weight also seems to be a problem as in this picture you can tell how skinny she is and that the dress just hangs on her and if she put on more weight she would wear clothes better and her face would be more fuller that would make her look younger rather than older than she really is. So do you agree or do you differ ? Credit to Daily Mail (Theo Wood) for images.
Just Last week Kate Middleton stepped out in a £175 Reiss beige dress when the Obama’s came to visit which caught many peoples attention as the dress quickly sold out afterwards. Lydia Bright (From the Only Way is Essex – A reality show) today stepped out in the same dress but Who do you think wore it best ? Credit to Daily Mail (Splash & Film Magic) for images
Here I have another post about getting the Kate Middleton style. This time i have used the dress she wore the day after the Royal Wedding which was a pretty blue pleated dress with a thin brown belt which is from high street store Zara ! Yip i believe this is the exact dress here from Zara for an amazing £49.99 or $89.90 and now that Kate Middleton has wore it i am sure this dress will be worth more so snap your up fast from Zara and team with black wedges and a black jacket to get the Kate look. What do you think about Kate’s style ?

Forget the wedding dress , i have chose 3 of my favorite looks from the big day. The first one of course is Kate’s stunning sister Pippa Middleton who looks amazing in this Alexander McQueen gown. She looks so sleek and perfect and the dress suits her so well. My second look is the style icon herself Mrs Victoria Beckham who also looked so sleek and Perfect in this gorgeous navy dress which was of course from her own design and an interesting Philip Treacy hat who seemed to be a popular one with the hats. Finally , last but not least as this has to be my favorite look is singer Joss Stone who looked amazing in an simple pink shift dress with matching jacket and a of course a nice hat to add a finishing touch. What was your favorite look of the day ?

P.S Sorry for the delay in the post
After months of speculation of who was going to be designing Kate Middleton’s Wedding dress it was finally revealed that it was indeed Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The dress which had a high waisted full skirt with lace top looked absolutely amazing on her i have to admit ! It wasn’t something i would pick for myself but it was just simply stunning on her and it was nearly identical to Grace Kelly’s(below) wedding dress when she got married back in 1956 to the Prince of Monaco. I am very glad that it was Alexander McQueen as this is a great tribute to him and i am sure he would have loved it. What do you think ?
P.S More Royal Wedding Fashion to come!

This look is probably her most remembered as it was the outfit she wore when her engagement was first announced. Here i have found a replica of both the infamous Navy Issa Dress and her engagement ring which also belonged to Princess Diana. This copy of the Dress is very similar but still stunning but of course at a fraction of the price at £89.00 compared to the Issa dress which is in its hundreds of pounds. This dress is from Ingenue London who sell a nice variety of dresses – http://ingenuelondon.com . The replica ring is from Amazon being sold by Gemondo for £49.00. P.S The ring is £49 for all sizes not as it says on the picture
