Worst Dressed at the Golden Globes 2012

And now here goes ..* bare your eyes * well actually its not that bad compared to recent years and these 3 that i have chose for worst dressed is a bit debate-able between people. Credit to ecorazzi , wiki-noticia and Aren’t we fancy for images.

Well i have no idea were to start .. Well the colour is awful the dress is just horrible all together ! The all baring pattern at the top is horrendous and basically just looks like bird feathers have been stuck on Lea’s body. Its not a good look and her posing doesn’t help ..

It wasn’t a very glee-ful night was it .. Dianna is usually very well dressed and well presented but here it looks as if she has used a cut up patterned table cloth and stuck it in layers = not a good look. The bottom of the dress is just too much and the overall look would look a lot better if the top half was kept with a long red mermaid skirt at the bottom giving it a simpler look but a lot nicer.

Madonna is really seen as some kind of style icon so its no surprise she is on the worst dressed list. Some think she did well here but personally its terrible ! The top half looks fine but when it reaches the beginning of the ivy green coloured bottom it just goes bad ! It looks as if a long piece of fabric has been cut up into squares and attached by a stapler, its a terrible look!

Best Dressed of the Golden Globes 2012

Can i first of all say sorry for the delay in this post i have just been so busy so sorry! Now anyway it was the golden globes about 2 weeks ago and there was some amazing and some not so amazing looks on the red carpet. So i will start off with the best. My first favorite which is probably my all round favorite is Nicole Kidman in this stunning metallic beaded Versace gown. I remember seeing this for the first time and thinking Wow ! that dress is just gorgeous and in comparison to all the other looks i had already seen i was thanking the lord for this cause its just amazing and looks great on Nicole. The gold colour goes great with her goldenish hair and she has accessoried well with just a simple gold bangle to keep the focus on the dress and a plain gold clutch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Another one of my favorites is Paula Patton in this gorgeous bright yellow Monique Lhuillier mermaid gown. The colour is just beautiful and has been accessoried perfectly to allow the dress centre-stage with a simple small gold clutch and silver earrings and a bracelet to give it an even balance. The shape of the dress looks great too with it showing off her fabulous figure from its tightly wrapped design.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And last but not least Salma Hayek adds to my list of best dressed in this stunning Black and gold Gucci gown. Similar to the previous two she has kept accessories to a minimum and stuck with simple but still lovely Lorraine Schwartz gold earrings and a black clutch with a gold lining to keep the colour effects from the dress. Her hair also balances the look and makes it the perfect colour to add to the golden designed bodice of the dress.

Its the time of year again when all the A-List celebs pull out the stops in crystal couture gowns. Yep , its the very much anticipated awards season and one of the biggest; The Golden Globes is tonight ! And as always its not just about who won what , everyone is always wanting to know that one question “Who are you wearing” and to raise the high hopes for tonights fashion i have chosen a few of my favourite looks from the Golden Globes in recent years.
