Pick of the Month:July 2013

One trend that has been growing in popularity lately is dungarees. Dungarees or overalls have been making a comeback recently after their massive popularity during the 70s and 80s and have now been spotted on celebs such as Rihanna, Keira Knightley and Alexa Chung. This trend has also been on the catwalk with designers such as Henry Holland and Philip Lim having them as pieces of their collection. Dungarees are a perfect staple piece for your wardrobe this summer especially if you are going to a music festival. These dungarees below are a shorter version and are in an acid gray colour from ASOS. For shorter dungarees wear with a cropped tank or short sleeved top and for longer dungarees a longer sleeved top looks great especially Breton tops which rock the vintage style. Resort 2014:Moschino Cheap And Chic

One of my favorite things about this time of year is the launch of the Resort collections. Many designers have launched their resort collections for 2014 this week and one of my favorite collections that I have seen so far is from Moschino Cheap And Chic. There is an obvious theme running through this collection with tie-dye, daisies and peace writing representing the 60s or the hippie look. The fun and playful look of the collection would most definitely not look out of place at any music festivals coming up this summer. Cute candy colours, floral prints and crocheted designs all play a major part in this collection and live up to the 1960s vibe created. Below are some pieces from the collection. Pick of the Month:May 2013
