Italy is a country of history and culture with beautiful structure and art. There was a clear historical influence in the Dolce & Gabbana collection which made its mark in Milan Fashion Week yesterday. The collection was full of beautiful cultural prints of ancient structures and buildings aswell as a floral print and polka dots used to keep the collection slightly modernized. There was also a sense of ladylike with high waisted pencil skirts and lace being prominent throughout the collection. Overall another stunning collection from D&G. Below are some pieces from the collection. What do you think of this collection? The rest of the collection can be viewed at Style.com
Last week Dolce & Gabbana took to Milan Fashion Week with their Fall 2013 collection. The collection had an interesting Religious theme to it with notable religious figures regularly appearing throughout the show aswell as the cross symbol making an appearance. A mosaic design also played a part in the collection that was featured on many of the designs which gives another suggestion towards the religious theme symboling a church decor possibly. There was also very ladylike dresses with many lace numbers which are typical to D&G. Here below are some shots from the runway show. Are you a fan of this collection ? To see all the runway shots go to Style.com. Credit to Style.com for images.
As Summer is approaching, the shops and online shopping are getting even busier with more and more people finding clothing for summer especially if they are planning on jetting off somewhere sunny. One particluar piece of clothing that has popular demand for summer is the Bralet top which made a big impact on the Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2012 runway (as seen above). This trend has been very popular with celebrities including Selena Gomez and Katy Perry aswell as being splashed all over most high street stores. These tops can be very flattering if you have the right figure and can be teamed nicely with skirts (as seen above) but not necessary of the same design. I have picked 4 lovely bralet tops from the High street which you can see below. P.S If you hover over the images below you can find out the price and where to buy it and Credit to Topshop, Missguided.co.uk, New Look , River Island and Style.com for images. Are you brave enough to wear the bralet ?
Sorry for the lateness in this post! I have put together 4 of my favorite looks from the ceremony. The first is Mila Kunis who looked amazing in this Elie Saab haute couture dress, Mila also looked amazing at the Golden Globes so maybe she is a future style icon. Scarlett Johansson also looked fab in this gorgeous Raspberry colored lace Dolce & Gabbana gown aswell as Jennifer Lawrence who was wearing a fiery red Calvin Klein number. Is it just me or does she look so much like Stephanie Pratt from The Hills ? And to complete the list the wonderful Halle Berry who stole the show in this dazzling Marchesa gown.
Who do you think was the Best Dressed ?
P.S I wont bother do a worst dressed post as there wasn’t actually that many worst dressed.
